In 2017, Mel and Frank chucked in their corporate jobs and slowly travelled the world; volunteering on small farms, meeting courageous people doing amazing things, and immersing in diverse cultures. It was scary, exhilarating and enlightening: it was life. Learn more about their journey here.
This was the beginning of their journey into sustainability. They are now changing their world, habits, mindset and environment.
Frank is the cook; Mel is the critic. Frank is the gardener; Mel is trying her hand at growing. Mel needs a compost bin; Frank will build it. Mel has hair brained ideas, like volunteering on a rice farm, Frank agrees to give it a try. Frank has dreams, like renovate a house in Italy, Mel gives him every reason and statistic she can think of not to…. he does it anyway. What do they do: they make, build, learn, debate, and try new stuff.
